The videos below were taken at the 2004 Pony Club championships, but show Celyn players as they all play for Flint and Denbigh Pony Club too. F&D (Celyn) are in the red or red & black shirts. The videos have commentary at the bottom to show exactly what is happening. To see each video click on the buttons. There are two versions of each video, one being a better quality but a bigger file so it depends on your Internet connection etc. as to which you wish to load. The size of each video is given to guide you. You can either save the video to file to watch later or open now for it to play in your video player (usually Windows Media Player unless you've set another one up).
	This is a video of the lineout, which is how the game starts at the beginning of the chukkas and restarts after each goal.The ball comes out to the Celyn side of the lineout and is quickly snapped up by the No3, Daisy.

	This video shows (in slow motion) how a pickup of the ball from the floor is done. The player is Daisy, a Primary Junior (PJ) player.

	This video shows the scoring of a goal including the bounce over the penalty line (in slow motion). The player is Simon, another Primary Junior Player. The ball has just been passed to him in mid-field as the video starts.

	This video also shows the scoring of a goal, but this time the No2 player gets the ball in the lineout and she (Joanna) and the No 1 (Anniemeike) go down the pitch together and Jo passes Annie the ball as they cross the penalty line. Jo (as the No2) is not allowed to stay in the area or impede the action so she moves quickly away. Annie takes a quick shot at goal as she is moving so fast she doesn't have time (and doesn't need...) to spend long lining it up. Both these players play for Wales Juniors.

	This video shows the team work involved in scoring a goal. The No3 is about to take the ball out of her area after taking it from the opposing No1. She leaves the area protected by her No2, then passes the ball to her No1. The No 1 waits for the No2 to catch up with her and then accelerates away, leaving the No2 and No3 to take out the opposing No3 who is supposed to stop our No1. Easy really.

	This video shows the No3 trying to prevent our No1 from scoring. Our No1 enters the area by bouncing the ball over the line. The No2 and 3 from Celyn have kept the opposing No1 and 2 away from her, but their No3 is already in the area waiting for our No 1. Our No1 is riding Romeo who is extremely fast and agile so easily out manouevres the No3 to score.

	This video shows a classic move by the opposing No1 (yellow shirt) in the lineout. She pushes forward just as the ball is thrown in and snatchs it despite the best efforts of our No1. She now has the other players on her non-stick side so no-one can take the ball from her. She goes on to score.
